For a project at our client in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced German speaking Strategic Purchaser – Indirect Materials. You will be responsible for driving transformational sourcing projects to reduce costs, increase quality, shorten time to market, and enable access to innovation across the material groups Marketing, Professional Services, Legal, Finance and Travel.
Qualifikationen
At least 5 years professional experience in strategic procurement or equivalent qualifications
Familiarity with the material groups Marketing, Professional Services, Legal, Finance and Travel
Capable to adapt quickly to new topics and stakeholders and work independently
Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and analytical and conceptual thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills which can be adapted to different hierarchy levels
Fluent in English and German
Aufgaben
Act as single point of contact for the functions Marketing, Professional Services, Legal, Finance and Travel
Lead and support sourcing processes including demand capturing, market screening, RfX drafting, supplier evaluation and selection, supplier negotiations, and contracting
Provide sourcing strategy options
Develop cost reduction opportunities along demand, specification and commercial levers
Run cross-functional and divisional cost reduction projects in your categories
Analyze historical and forecast data to identify value-add opportunities
Manage selected supplier relations and implement improvement plans
Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams and effectively manage multiple internal stakeholders
Take responsibility for the internal consulting spend approval process
Represent operational procurement during absences and vacation
